Worship Update from Fr. Frank

Dear Friends,

As the Coronavirus alert continues, the Bishop has directed that all in-person worship in our churches will remain discontinued through the end of May.  As, however, a phased re-opening after that date is envisioned, he has also created a special commission of diocesan leaders to develop plans for in-person worship to resume.  Their plans will be circulated when complete.

Therefore, I will be sending an additional package of pre-consecrated Communion wafers and the readings for the next four Sundays.

As has been the case throughout the alert, the Daily Offices of Morning and Evening Prayer, at which each of you is prayed for by name, have continued to be said.  On Sundays, the Eucharist has been celebrated at the Rectory pro populo, that is, for the parish with the intention that the grace of the Eucharist be applied to all your prayer needs.

My own intention is that, coming through this “desert” experience, we will grow stronger as a faith community and deepen our spirituality.  We may surprise ourselves.

                                                                                Faithfully yours,

                                                    Fr. Frank+
